Cornelia
Principle

​Cornelia’s super power is staying calm under stressful conditions. You never hear her raising voice at the children. She is open to learning and loves her community. Cornelia and her husband live on school property and has the tough job of keeping our building safe.
Candice
Administrator
​
​Candice is the administrator but also “doer of all things”. She’s given herself the job of creating a healthy work place culture. Holder of secrets. Receiver of baby hugs (galore).
Nomalady

Cook

​Nomalady is our cook and magic kitchen person. She can make a dish stretch beyond your imagination. Nomalady is Mom to 5 children and brings a gentle spirit to all she does here. She’s sweet, wise and always offers a positive word
Khanyisa
Teacher (2-3 year olds)
​
Khanyisa is also loving known as Pretty. Mom to a 3yr old and the youngest in our team. She is one of two teachers in what we call “the baby class”. She is always willing to help when we are in a fix. Can be relied on to cover without hesitance in any situation.
Nontathu
Teacher (2-3 year olds)
​
Nontathu is a lady of few words but never without a smile. She is shy and giddy and boldly declared this year (2022) will be HER year! She may be quiet but she is no push over! The babies adore her and so do we.
Nondumiso
Teacher (3-4 year olds)
​
Miss Patience is a Mom and grandmother and is an experienced teacher. Truth teller and no nonsense. You always know where you stand with her. She’s forgiving and you will often hear music and her singing coming from her class.
Clementine
Teacher (4-5 year olds)
​
​Clementine is originally from Zimbabwe and is our fashionista. She absolutely loves photographs and dressing up. She is creative and always goes the extra mile. You should see birthday parties in her class WOW!
Joscene
Grade R Teacher
​
Joscene joined our time with much needed experience in formal teaching. She happily shares her experience. Joscene is mostly shy and she holds us all accountable to being fair. She is a compassionate teacher and her children adore her.
Nolwandle
Caretaker/Janitor
​
Nolwandle is also lovingly known as “Noniki” and has the tough job of keeping everything neat & clean. As you can imagine this is not an easy job at a school with 120 children between the ages of 2-6yrs. Noniki does this by moving slowly and steadily dropping her feisty sense of humour throughout the day.
