For the love of reading
Children learn to love reading by our example. In this modern world, we find ourselves competing with mobile devices. The bright lights and vibrant colours on the screens capture their minds so ferociously. Our modern day "baby-sitters" in the form of mobile devices, however rob us of an important bonding time with our children. Nothing beats hearing them grasp new words, colours, shapes and the excitement of spending time with Mom and Dad's undivided attention. Books inspire imagination, storytelling, language and comprehension skills.
At Rainbow ECD we encourage parents to spend ten minutes at bed time reading to children. Those ten minutes will bring so much joy and a lifetime of investment into your child.
